Drascombe Projects
Drascombe
boats are designed to be simple, rugged and reliable. Much pleasure can be had
however by personalising them and adding improvements to your own requirements.
Over many years I have learnt much from other Drascombe owners who have given
me inspiration to improve my own boats.
This section
is mainly for other Drascombe (not just Coaster) owners to gain inspiration in
their turn. Some stuff however, like the engine pages in particular, will be of
interest to a much wider range of boat owners – not just Drascombers. There is
a column below with guidance as to which boats the pages apply to. The
challenge of course is not to say I can’t do that because I don’t have to hand
the materials or components that have been used”. Rather it is to be inspired
to do what is possible for you and to use what you do have or can get and the
skills that you have or can learn in order to make one or more improvements
that you want for your boat. Good luck and Happy Drascombing.
Note.
A couple of the earlier pages have been published in the Drascombe Association
News.
